The 2012/13  rounds

1   North London SME  1 July 2012
2   Fylde 12 August 2012
3   Ecurie Barnton (Edinburgh) 28 Oct 2012
4   Leicester 2 Dec 2012
5   Netley  27 Jan 2013

As part of a review by the BSCRA council to simplify the racing and membership year, it has been decided to run the 1/32nd BOC to fit the calendar year in future. To aid the change over, the final round of this year’s championship in January 2013 will also count as round 1 of next year’s championship.

We have looked at numerous options to implement this both quickly and without over congesting the calendar. The outcome is that the 2012-13 season will only be for 5 rounds with racers counting all rounds they are eligible to compete at less their worst to decide championship positions (that means drivers with a home round count 3 & other drivers 4 rounds). The final round in January 2013 will also count as the first round of the first calendar year season in 2013 which will contain 6 rounds with racers counting all rounds less the worst 2 they are eligible to compete at.

The main grade championships will be calculated separately from the overall championship using the same scoring system as the overall championship.
