Highland Slot Car Club  20 September

The Highland round of the BSL on the Highland 8 followed on from the Barnton round on Sunday 20 Sept. 25 racers took part and a very heart felt thanks to all those who made the journey and contributed to what was a very enjoyable meeting.

1/32 Racing

Once again Paul Shepherd was winner of the Super Production class and top overall. He was chased hard by Gordon Dickson and Steve Sargent.

The top three in Falcon Production were Pete Clarkson, Richard Wallace and a draw between Keith Charles and Alan Lucas for third. Paul Evans was top Clubman and  George Pummel was top Newcomer and Junior.

1/24 Racing

This quickly became a duel between Little and Large (Martin Ellis and Gordon Dickson) and rm racing (Richard and Murray Wallace) with these two teams finishing over 25 laps clear of the nearest opposition in third E B Gb’s (Alan Lucas and Sandy Wedderburn). Little and Large were ahead after the first two segments but thereafter rm racing pulled out a couple of laps in each segment to win by a margin of almost 12 laps

A big thank you to all who took part and contributed to a successful event from Highland Slot Car Club.
