How does the pace with saloon bodies compare to last years sports bodies?  Obvious track conditions aren’t identical to last year, but the pace in F2 is pretty similar to last year.     Barry was second in saloon / sports both years and what it’s worth his 2023 pace with a saloon body was a couple of laps quicker than last  year with a sports body.

F2

The F2 class rules were the same as last year, a free choice of chassis with a Hawk 7 or 7BB motor.

The first final was won by Mike Thomson from Nick Cunningham.

Six of top final runners finished ahead of Mike time, Gavin Wills won his second event of the day, with Mark Witham second and Barry Gilzean third

1/24

This class has changed quite significantly from last year with BSCRA approved pressed chassis with Hawk 7 or 7BB motors replacing the laser cut chasssis and more powerful FK 130 size motors allowed.

The first final was won by Keith Fishenden from  Mike Thomson.

Again six of top final runners finished ahead of the first final time.  Paul Hawood  ahead of Barry Gilzean with Gavin Wills  third.
