Back to fastest lap in 1 minute for qualifying and 5 drivers got under 5 seconds - Paul Shepherd 4.602 top qualified, Ross Grogan 4.663, Stephen Siddall 4.763, Graham Woodward 4.822 and Dave Coward 4.868. These were joined by Ben Woodward, David Sargent and Matt Siddall in the A race, all in the 5.0s. Pat Skene just also with a 5.0 just missed out.
The B race was a real corker with Steve Sargent and, a little surprisingly, Chas Keeling having a 'ding dong' battle all the way. The lead changed several times with no more than 2 laps between them at any stage. Chas (248.05) was having his best drive of the weekend but couldn't quite hold on and Steve (248.94) eventually won the race by 89 bits. Behind them Neil Grogan, Pat Skene and Franz were having their own private battle and Neil eventually took 3rd with 240.42 from Pat (236.39) and Franz (234.68).
The A race was again dominated by Paul Shepherd who finished on 265.16 laps, but behind him Graham Woodward (254.84), Stephen Siddall (250.26) and Ross Grogan (250.02) were all striving to beat Steve Sargent's total from the B race. These three all finished with 250+ laps and so pushed Steve back into 5th place with Chas 6th. Dave Coward (246.10), Matt Siddall (245.48) and Ben Woodward (240.59) all beat Neil's B total.
