Fastest lap in 1 minute again, and Ross Grogan blitzed the field with the fastest lap of the weekend, 3.973, nearly 2/10ths quicker than second man Paul Shepherd (4.141). With Grame Stephenson having to leave early and Martin deciding not to race it meant that there would be 3 finals because of the need for a minimum 8 marshalls. Graham Woodward (4.271) and Dave Coward (4.372) joined Ross and Shep in a four man A final.

The 5 man C final saw Andy Brown-Searle streak off into the lead which he was never to lose. His Hornet chassised car looked as smooth as anything and he posted a target of 262.63 laps. Franz (248.53), Neil (241.30) and Chas (239.75) were all left behind and Andy's total would see him good for 7th place overall. The B race was another cracker mainly between Steve Sargent and Pat Skene. Steve posted 275.41 to lead overall and Pat just over a lap back on 274.38 to hold 2nd place. David Sargent also topped Andy's total, just, with 264.74.

The A final was a demonstartion of top driving with a top car by Ross Grogan. He really was in a class of his own, with his average lap time throughout the race of 4.622 secs per lap he finished on an impressive total of 311.54 laps. Shep and Woody tried their best to keep up, Shep eventually finishing with 293.97 laps and Woody 288.08, the top 3 finishing in qualifying order. Dave Coward had a poor race by his standards finishing on 262.12, just behind Andy's C total and Steve Sargents B total was good enough for 4th overall.
